  1. 🧱 BLOCKS LEGACY

Intro to blocks

Blocks are the foundation of Hubble. They let you create engaging, personalized content for your Shopify customer account pages. Each block type is designed to serve a specific purpose, helping you connect with your customers effectively.

Types of Blocks

Hubble offers a variety of block types tailored to different needs. Here's an overview:

Announcement Banner

  • Purpose: Share updates, promotions, or important messages.

  • Example Use: “Free Shipping on Orders Over $50!”

Add a collapsible section for more detailed announcements.

Image Banner

  • Purpose: Showcase visuals like product images or promotional banners.

  • Example Use: Highlight your latest sale or a featured collection.

Include a clickable link to drive traffic to specific pages.

Featured Products

  • Purpose: Display specific products or collections to promote them.

  • Example Use: “Best Sellers” or “New Arrivals.”

Target different product collections to specific customer groups.

Order Items List

  • Purpose: Show customers their orders in a structured list.

  • Example Use: Display a default list of order items for easy access.

Help customers reorder products or track their status directly.

Order Item Actions

  • Purpose: Add quick actions for individual order items (e.g., reordering, submitting support tickets).

  • Example Use: A “Reorder” button next to a previous purchase.

Combine with customer filters to target specific actions.

How to Choose the Right Block

  • What do I want to communicate? Announcements and Image Banners are great for promotions.

  • What do I want customers to do? Featured Products and Order Item Actions drive interactions.

  • What’s the best fit for my audience? Use customer targeting to match blocks with specific customer groups.

Not sure which block to start with? Begin with an Announcement Banner to try it out.
